Senior Investment & Valuation Manager (PL) RWE Renewables Poland

Your future plans

 

  • Carry out quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex development, operative and M&A projects that are located within various countries and provide independent holistic recommendations to the management. Technology focus may include onshore wind, photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage
  • Build, develop and maintain financial valuation models to assess project economics
  • Take over governance role including the challenge of valuation relevant assumptions and the standardization and further development of investment approval processes and papers
  • Lead RWE Renewables’ investment approval process and manage all relevant stakeholders
  • Be responsible for the quality of Board papers by ensuring accuracy and clarity and effectively communicate results to the RWE Renewables and RWE AG Board
  • Provide commercial guidance to our business units for investment, divestment, bid and partnering decisions
  • Prepare, execute and steer financial due diligence processes
  • Lead the evaluation of new strategic initiatives, financial workstreams and other internal ad hoc projects

 

 Your profile

 

  • Several years of professional valuation and financial modelling experience incl. the ability to setup financial models from scratch
  • Excellent knowledge of capital market theory and in-depth familiarity with valuation-related topics in particular DCF valuation
  • Degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, mathematical economics or similar degree programs with good or very good success, professional degrees (e.g. CFA) will be an advantage
  • Experience in writing target group-specific, independent and balanced investment decision papers and presenting it to the relevant management functions
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset
  • Critical attitude, which you bring to projects in a constructive and value-creating way
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines while assuring high quality and accuracy
  • Strong English language skills, other languages (esp. German) will be an advantage
  • And last but not least: have fun working in an international team where a good sense of humor is appreciated
