Functional area: Project Development
 

Due to dynamic growth of company we are looking for a Project Manager responsible for developing wind onshore projects in Poland to contribute to shape tomorrow’s green energy landscape.

 

Your tasks:

  • Develop wind projects in Poland from early stage through the investment decision and handover to the construction & operations team
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams with internal departments and external service providers
  • Manage the existing agreements with external developers for development of onshore wind projects (Joint Development Agreements)
  • Manage the permitting process and coordinate the team of involved internal and external providers (e.g., consultants for environmental studies) and interact with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., permitting authorities, municipalities, politicians, landowners)
  • Manage and optimize project budgets, objectives, schedules and deliverables for assigned development projects
  • Manage existing Partnerships with external Developers (Joint Development Agreements)
  • Conduct risk analyses/assessments and recommend mitigation measures
  • Work closely with Valuation, Commercialization and Engineering teams to identify best route to market and to optimize the profitability of the business case
  • Participation in  due dilligence and risk assessment of projects from the perspective of necessary permits and rights of land in M&A processes
  • Supporting the construction team during construction in the area of responsibility of development

Your profile:

  • Proven track record in greenfield wind onshore development and/or co-development with partners
  • Experience in project development in all stages, including late stage projects and handover to construction
  • Solid knowledge in project management as well as Market knowledge about Polish energy market
  • Very good analytical skills coupled with the required drive to execute and deliver projects
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration or related subject area with at least three years of experience in the area of wind development (gained if possible in an international environment)
  • Excellent team-player with very good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken Polish and English, other languages a plus
  • Willingness to travel on regular basis
