We are looking for a Senior Performance Controller who acts as a Business Partner for our business in Warsaw. Our 60 motivated and focused Controllers at RWE Renewables are working in 11 countries across Europe and Australia providing financial services for more than 250 operational assets as well as numerous projects under development and construction. Join us to support the profitable growth of our renewables portfolio by 2-3 Gigawatts p.a. Your tasks:
- Supporting the Onshore, PV and Storage business in Poland as a Performance Controller for development and construction:
o Setting up, interpreting, analysing of steering relevant financial and operational KPIs and presentation in a suitable way to the management
o Regular as well as ad-hoc analysis of financial and operational business performance
o Responsible for business partner support, management reporting, business planning and forecasting, variance analysis
o Act as a financial business partner to challenge the business, identify best in class solutions and trends to safeguard the successful development of the business.
- Integration of newly acquired development company into Controlling processes and standards
- Liaising with internal counterparties within Renewables and the wider RWE group (legal, tax, accounting, finance, risk management, operational teams)
- Developing and continuous improving planning and controlling tools especially focused on digitalisation/automisation of processes and efficient handling of mass data
Your profile:
- Excellent university degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- Extensive experience, i.e. at least 5 years in a controlling / subsidiary management / finance area, with energy business knowledge in a project based environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture effective working relationships
- Acting comfortably in cross-cultural teams, collaborating across country boundaries; ability to build and maintain a contact network and business relationships
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, highly adaptable and used to work in multiple projects simultaneously with different deadlines
- Familiarity with SAP (FI/CO/BI) and MS Office
- Familiarity with IFRS, Polish GAAP and other local tax and regulations
- Fluent in Polish and English
