The Senior Accountant is responsible for certain general accounting and financial reporting functions for RWECE.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly HLBV tax equity accounting journal entries
  • Issuance of external financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements under US GAAP
  • Coordinate audit support and external auditors’ inquiries related to financial statements audits and group reporting package review
  • Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
  • Assist with the migration to SAP
  • Support local and group accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant financial and business experience is required

Skills:

  • Must have good analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form
  • Experience with Peoplesoft and SAP is preferred
  • Able to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • High energy level and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • MS Office computer skills are required

 

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $73,000.00-109,00.00 . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
