As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the overall Warehouse in Eemshaven and the parts management offshore at SOV / CTV for our project Nordseecluster.

You will report to the O&M Hub Manager. Work location will be Eemshaven/NL.

About the role

• Ensures the smooth operation of warehouse processes by overseeing daily activities, maintaining quality assurance, controlling inventory in accordance with HSE regulations and processes. This includes organizing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring products are accounted for and safely stored and prepared, following warehouse management procedures which needs to be aligned for the project.
• Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This requires constant monitoring and adjustments to meet demand fluctuations and avoid stockouts.
• Strong focus of process development (SAP or equivalent) to approach a lean execution to the extent possible.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by regularly inspecting the warehouse and equipment to meet safety standards. Ensuring all safety protocols are followed to prevent workplace accidents and disruptions.
• Preparation of Port calls (bi-weekly shift pattern) in close collaboration with the SOV management to fulfill internal processes and offshore regulations
• Ensuring a smooth interaction of the different shifts as well as continuous optimization of shift handovers
• Organization of shipment / transport of goods
• Support PR / PO creation and process

Job requirements and experience

• Education in parts & logistics management or comparable experiences
•  At least 5 years’ experience in warehouse management in the maritime industry
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills to ensure effective operations
• In-depth experience in managing and support staff across a matrix organization
• Knowledge of commercial tasks and duties
• Fluent language skills in English and Dutch
