RWE Renewables Sweden is looking for a Lead Technician to lead our technicians in their daily work based in Trehörningsjö close to Örnsköldsvik and Umeå!

About the role
The role as Lead Technician involves being a coordinator at our facility in Trehörningsjö including staff planning for technicians, work environment work.

The daily tasks include:

• Work on challenging tasks in service and troubleshooting at our wind farm
• Leading, guiding and supporting the technicians
• Leading and planning meetings
• Assigning and planning work in the short, medium and long term
• Structuring work routines and processes
• Daily tasks in SAP such as, administering work orders and support purchasing

At RWE Renewables we put safety first and as a Lead Technician you will be a role model and pro-actively work to create a safety mindset and take responsibility for safety issues and day-to-day HSSE work. It is important that you show good judgement and have great respect for different personalities, you will spearhead the operations, therefore it is essential that you have a great technical knowledge, interest in both teaching and learning, and can combine office duties with technical problem solving in wind turbines. 

About you
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are a natural leader with proven experience in a similar role. You enjoy problem solving and are comfortable working in a business where new challenges arise on a daily basis. We believe you have a technical qualification as an electrician or in operations & maintenance, alternatively you will have acquired these skills through work experience. It is a requirement that you have experience from the wind power industry. 

Good health is required for working in the turbines which involves high altitude and climbing. The position involves travel to our various facilities, hence the requirement for a B driver's license,

You like to work in a team and are a good team player who wants to communicate both within the team and with others. Fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.
