Your role


Our APAC Human Resources department (Business Partners - M&A, Transactions & New Markets) within RWER is looking for a Human Resources Support Japan.

At RWER you will have a dynamic job in an international environment. In the role as Human Resources Support Japan, you will be responsible for the overall local HR support and all HR admin related tasks to support all employees. Your role will be complex and your team will be located within the global functions for Human Resources. You will be located in our local office in Tokyo and report functionally to Business Partners - M&A, Transactions & New Markets


Your future plans and key responsibilities


  • Support on new hire registration (providing and collecting documents from the new hires, check accuracy of the documents, and sending documents to Payroll vendor. Informing, internal stakeholders for preparation for new hires, enrolling to benefits etc.)
  • Ongoing communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g. labor law, payroll providers, advisors) to ensure timely execution of HR processes
  • Maintain HR record keeping and create reports for time attendance, leave record, overtime, annual health check, stress check, and Defined Contribution plan etc.  Follow up with employees as necessary to acquire information.
  • Maintain HR data base and as necessary, update external vendors for changes (new hire, separation, address change, non-paid leave such as paternity leaves and medical leaves)
  • Support the establishment of systems and tools to efficiently support HR processes (e.g. business travel, working hours, vacation etc.)
  • Support maintaining and renewing benefits such as GLTD and GPA annually with external vendors
  • Issue Certificate of Employment for bank account opening, visa applications, apartment lease, housing loans etc.)
  • Handle expatriate and locally hired international employee management (e.g. supporting the VISA applications for internal and external employees by preparing documents required by VISA vendor, assign temporary housing etc. )
  • Support separation procedure such as terminating benefits, collecting health insurance card and such.
  • Creating files to maintain hard copies of HR documents
  • Coordinate HR projects  HR internal meetings and training for employees


Your profile


  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on human resource administration experience in Japan
  • Familiar with Japan labor law, employment law, and social security law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Open mindset and enjoying an international environment
  • Business Fluent written and spoken English language skills
