Your role
 
The Business Development Assistant Manager role is pivotal in continuing the growth of RWE offshore wind pipeline in Taiwan. Working as part of a lean business development team in country and working closely with other local and global teams, this role will help establish new business opportunities in Taiwan. 

 

Your future plans

 

  • Delivery of Growth: Support the business development team to implement growth targets for Taiwan by finding new opportunities for offshore wind projects (including floating wind) and ensure early-stage development projects reach key milestones in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish, develop and maintain strong working partnerships with key stakeholders for early-stage development projects.
  • Coordination and internal communication: Coordinate effectively with legal, technical and procurement teams to complete the required processes and to review and finalize relevant project contracts.
  • Marketing analysis: Provide timely and accurate market intelligence inputs to the teams to optimize floating strategy development 
  • Management support: Support management of business development workstreams, by preparing and coordination of internal and external meetings, preparing external presentation materials and internal approval documentation, and tracking follow up actions.

 

Your profile

 

  • Good degree in engineering or related discipline, MBA or additional commercial background are beneficial
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise of building the business relationship with key stakeholders
  • Sound project management experience with 2-3 years previous experience in the electricity / renewables / heavy industry / construction sectors. 
  • Commercial experience in discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office software skills 
  • Pro-activeness, communication and flexibility very important
  • Strong candidates will also have experienced in the Taiwan wind market including a good knowledge on supply chain management
