Your role


You effectively coordinate international assignments for dedicated group / region. This includes advising employees and expatriates on individual international assignments and cross-border-working.


Your future plans


  • Ensure full E2E coordination of mobilization, on-assignment support and de-mobilization and execution of all GM internal processes as well as initialization and monitoring of all processes outside GM
  • Autonomously perform end-to-end organization and management of individual international assignments and all connected processes throughout the full lifecycle of an assignment - using the GM tool and in close cooperation with internal parties (such as HR SSC, Tax Department) and external parties (local authorities) and providers (e.g., tax, immigration, relocation)
  • Advise employees on the set-up of the assignment package, contractual agreements, cost-projection and -allocation and legal compliance
  • Advise on assignment packages and their design as well as on taxation principles and social security questions
  • Work closely together with the Expatriate payroll and Tax provider with delivering relevant data, remuneration and assignment package changes. Collaborate with all vendors along the defined service level and report on vendor’s performance for client meetings
  • Be the responsible POC for assignee on assignment. Supporting and resolving assignee/ employee demands/ requests/ escalations on an as-needed basis
  • Design and continuous update of value-adding reports for all customers and the Head of GM over running assignment processes and the assignment population
  • Work on and giving input to HR and Global Mobility projects. Furthermore, drive constant optimization of the area of responsibility, its organization and processes and aim to further develop the HR GM function


Your profile


  • You have completed your studies in business administration or have a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in HR management and Global Mobility 
  • Furthermore, you score points with your profound knowledge regarding the management of international staff assignments and cross-border work
  • Besides that you have profound knowledge of relevant aspects and regulations in the areas of taxes, social security, immigration and labor law - ideally with experience with US environment 
  • Your high customer orientation, good communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English distinguish you
  • Absolute trustworthiness and very good team skills are self-evident for you
