(Senior) Project Developer m/f/t - Battery Energy Storage

Committed to facilitating the transition to climate neutral energy, we develop utility scale battery energy storage systems. These solutions relieve the pressure on power grids by supplying balancing energy and  facilitating the integration of renewable generation technologies through providing stability products and ancillary services. 
As a member of an international team, you will originate and develop large scale battery projects across the UK. 

 

Your future plans 

  • Project managing battery energy storage projects from initiation, through design, consenting, procurement to construction ready 
  • Autonomously progressing projects; taking full responsibility for programme, quality and budget
  • Identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities for utility scale battery projects
  • Developing and optimising solutions engaging technical, commercial and support specialists 
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, agents and local community
  • Coordinating inputs to prepare compelling business cases
     

Your powerful skills

  • Several years’ experience in project development/management in the energy sector 
  • University degree in economics, engineering, renewables, environmental or related 
  • Independent, precise and efficient approach to work
  • Team spirit, flexibility and customer focus
  • Excellent command of English, with honed communication and presentation skills
  • Readiness for occasional travel UK wide and internationally
     

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Experience managing land acquisition process and grid connection applications 
  • Familiarity with battery technology/electrical engineering or similar 
  • Understanding of the GB Power and Ancillary Services markets
