About the role

Gain experience across the full scope of offshore wind farm operations, including safety management and reporting.
Work with stakeholders across the business and within the joint venture partnership.
Analyse turbine faults and recommend modifications to maximise output and performance.
Identify and document operational risks.
Support daily site fault reporting, work planning and technical decision-making.
Lead a high-profile continuous improvement project, including budget, contract and contractor management.
Help maintain and operate the wind farm efficiently to power hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across the UK.
Contribute to team decisions and deliver a tangible impact on the business.

Job requirements and experience

Ongoing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
Eligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree programme.
Very good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organise workloads independently and meet tight deadlines.
Confidence working in a diverse team and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to other sites when required, with travel expenses covered.

At least five years of residence in the UK due to potential National Security Vetting requirements.

This position is aimed at those currently studying who are eligible for a Year in Industry Placement. For those who will be graduating Summer 2027 we encourage you to apply for our graduate programme which will be advertised in January 2027.
