Administration Coordinator - North Hoyle and Rhyl Flats

Functional area: Administration
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated person to join our Operations Team at Rhyl Flats and North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farms. This role is primarily office-based, with a key emphasis on self-managing your time effectively to ensure both wind farms receive equal attention. You will be responsible for balancing the administrative demands of each site, organising tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations, and maintaining effective communication with both wind farms.
About the role
- All aspects of general administration and secretarial tasks including greeting guests, answering calls, and inter-department liaison
- Support to site team based in the office including arranging travel, accommodation, meeting rooms and events
- Contact management and coordination of routine works pertaining to the Site Facilities
- Handling and distribution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintaining the filing system and certain document control responsibilities
- Responsible for the setup of new vendors and the creation, tracking and processing of purchase requests for goods and services
- Act as Office IT Administrator with the ordering of equipment and ongoing support and liaison with the IT service desk
- Co-ordinating meetings, drafting agendas and taking minutes
- Arranging team conferences, workshops and events
- Various ad-hoc responsibilities that arise in terms of office administration
Job requirements and experience
- Organised, attentive, and a capable business administrator
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Good communication skills - need to be comfortable liaising with a wide range of people at all professional levels
- Committed, focused, and motivated
- Able to show team working skills and good administrative abilities including supporting the team as needs arise and often at short notice
- Organised with great attention to detail
Advantageous, but not essential
- Knowledge of SAP
- A formal qualification in Business Administration
- Experience with document management systems
