Senior Project Procurement Manager Sweden

As Project Procurement Manager for RWE’s growing Wind & PV pipeline within our Europe & Australia Procurement team, you act as Procurement Single Point of Contact for PV & Solar projects in the Nordics and take full responsibility for all WTG and/or BoP contracts during the development and construction phase. You are further in charge of operational purchasing of Procurement demands  as well as optimizing supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle both from project and project portfolio perspective.

 

Your future role:

  • Manage the negotiation of large and complex project contracts (including EPC and BoP contracts) for PV & Wind project in multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Develop, implement and manage purchasing strategies for these contracts
  • Lead site specific or framework agreement tender activities using the RWE e-sourcing platform.
  • Management of the negotiation of engineering services (expert opinions, feasibility studies), service contracts and agreements for spare parts and other materials  for wind turbine generators, in multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Implementation and management of purchasing strategies for service and maintenance contracts and spare parts
  • Develop and implement an active supplier relationship management with the  suppliers for PV & Wind Balance of Plant contracts as well as with the engineering services, service and spares providers for onshore wind turbines generator.
  • Develop and implement an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the development, construction and operations department
  • Interface management with Category Procurement for PV modules and Wind Turbine Generators and other support functions like i.e. Finance, Risk Controlling and Legal
  • Provide cost estimation for the local cost scope of new photovoltaic plants and grid interconnection works.Implement framework agreements into the SAP system to allow automatic ordering.
  • Place call off’s against existing framework agreements
  • Convert Purchase requisitions into Purchase Orders, where automatic SAP contracts do not exist.
  • Invoice query support for purchase orders.

 

Your profile:

  • Several years of relevant experience in the PV & Wind industry preferred within Europe
  • Several years of relevant experience in management and processing of large and complex tenders for PV & Wind EPC contracts and/or for power plant / industry or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex) as well as in processing of major component and/or spare part and material tenders
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively and maintain key stakeholder relationships within suppliers
  • Extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks, developing strategies for risk prevention/control
  • Successfully completed studies in engineering or business economics, additional legal qualification advantageous
  • Ability to negotiate multiple contract packages, to manage stakeholders and to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English and Swedish
  • Willingness to travel as well as the willingness to temporary stays abroad to support our international PV & Wind projects.
