About the role
- Gain valuable knowledge and experience of :
- Implementation and communication of Environmental Strategy within Offshore Wind
- Greater understanding of European and UK Environmental legislation and guidance
- Working for a Global organisation with a local interface
- Support continual environmental improvement and improve sustainability goals
- Develop intimate knowledge of ISO standards
- Develop understanding of the interaction with health and safety
- Actively support the team e.g. with
- Project-based tasks
- Standardisation of HSE management documents
- Work cross-functionally with all Operational Wind Sites, other departments and external contractors
- Data analyses and associated software and other tools
- Communication, presentation and liaising of management and the Strategy
Job requirements and experience
- You´re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses:
- Occupational H&S or Environmental Studies
- Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
- Looking at your current performance overview you are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
- You have very good verbal and written communication skills
- You´re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines
- Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with
- You´re open to travel to other sites if needed. Travel expenses will be covered by us
- Motivation is crucial. Your cover letter will tell us why you´re a suitable candidate for this opportunity, and how it aligns with your studies & career plans
