As a (Senior) Originator, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, developing new commercial opportunities, and delivering real impact in a growing, greenfield space.
 

Your role

•    Drive revenue growth by identifying, negotiating and concluding commercial agreements for power and green certificates
•    Innovate and create value by designing new structured products/services that mitigate risk across RWE’s renewable assets and trading portfolio 
•    Expand our commercial reach by building a strong pipeline of new deals and partnerships in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
•    Lead high-value transactions from inception to execution, managing approvals and engagement across Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Legal & Compliance and Finance
•    Strengthen RWE’s market position as a trusted partner in the energy landscape

Your profile

•    A highly commercial mindset, excellent negotiation skills, strong business acumen and PnL responsibility 
•    Proven track record in a commercial role in UK & Ireland commodity industry with experience in up- and downstream agreements  
•    In-depth understanding of all risks associated with complex commodity transactions (market, credit, regulatory, legal and liquidity risks, etc.) and ability to structure contracts with a balanced risk-return profile 
•    Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt commercial strategies in a dynamic regulatory landscape
•    Ability to understand, develop, document and communicate complex structures to all levels of internal and external management

•    Strong networking and influencing skills across all levels 

•    A true team player with the ambition to support RWE's growth plans in renewables and trading 
•    Excellent communication skills - business fluency in English
