As Offshore Service Technician Maintenance Teamlead - WTG, you will independently plan and carry out maintenance work on all wind turbine systems in the Trident Cluster. You will also take responsibility and lead a team.

 

About the role:

 

  • Independently carrying out inspection and maintenance work on electrical and mechanical components on the wind turbines
  • Supervision and coordination of external companies, particularly with regard to work content, quality and occupational safety
  • Documentation of all work with the help of electronic reporting systems (e.g. SAP, Fluix)
  • Participation in the creation and review of operationally relevant documentation (e.g. maintenance manuals, RAMS)
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations
  • Independently carrying out maintenance work on electrical and mechanical components in accordance with work instructions
  • Support at the base / warehouse on bad weather days

 

Job requirements & experience

 

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician / mechatronics engineer or mechanic
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in maintenance on the following turbine types: 6.2M126
  • Knowledge of the relevant German standards and guidelines (e.g. DIN VDE 0105-100, ArbSchG, DGUV, TRBS, BetrSichV)
  • Valid offshore training according to GWO standard would be an advantage
  • Strong awareness of occupational safety
  • High degree of flexibility and physical fitness
  • Good knowledge of English and willingness to work in shifts on Heligoland
