The Offshore Service Technician Teamlead Maintenance Substation (f/m/d) plans and carries out maintenance work on all systems at the electrical offshore substations of the Amrumbank West, Nordsee Ost and Kaskasi wind farms. In the medium term, the service technician (f/m/d) should be able to switch medium and high-voltage systems and take on the role of system and work supervisor. This will involve ensuring that installations are maintained in a safe, high quality and cost effective manner, taking into account all commercial factors.
About the role:
- Independently carry out routine inspections and maintenance of electrical and mechanical components
- Support in troubleshooting and rectification, independent supervision and coordination of third-party maintenance assignments
- Documentation of all work with the help of electronic reporting systems (e.g. SAP)
- Creation of error reports and work instructions
- Checking and, if necessary, editing documentation relevant to operations (e.g. maintenance manuals, installation circuit diagrams)
- Ensuring compliance with and checking occupational safety regulations and creating RAMS for repairs (risk assessments and process instructions)
- Proactively develop opportunities for improvement, take responsibility for optimisation projects and effectively promote team spirit
Job requirements and experience:
- Successfully completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering or mechatronics technician with at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of offshore substations
- Further professional training as a master craftsman, technician or engineer or valid offshore training according to GWO standard including HUET is an advantage
- Experience in switching medium and high-voltage systems is desirable
- Very good technical understanding of the operation of a substation
- Knowledge of the relevant German standards and directives (e.g. DIN VDE 0105-100, ArbSchG, DGUV, TRBS, BetrSichV)
- Strong awareness of occupational safety, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high degree of flexibility and physical fitness
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Motivated to work in shifts on Helgoland (14 days on-site/ 14 days off-site)
