Your future role

  • Ensures site SCADA and critical IT/OT equipment business continuity
  • Coordinates, together with I&C and IT/OT, 3rd Layer (site) support for the communication and SCADA systems (HV&AUX Scada (Substation) and WTG Scada) for the assigned and operational Offshore Windfarms
  • Responsible for troubleshooting relevant systems in case of failure and coordinating the involvement of suppliers and stakeholders (Site Ops, CCR, I&C, IT/OT, …) when required
  • Manages Root Cause Analysis on Monitoring & Control infrastructure failures and malfunctions suggesting detailed engineering solutions
  • Accountable for tracking associated systems life expectancy and coordinate the actions for their life extension (upgrades, refreshes, replacements)

 
Cyber Security

  • Ensuring SCADA and site IT/OT infrastructure physical and environmental security
  • Working alongside the central OT Security team to help enforce SCADA Security governance
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: To maintain services during significant disruptions as a result of one or more serious cyber security incidents. And to reduce the duration and level of impact caused
  • Cyber Security Incident Management: Practice and test incident response process
  • Asset Management: To identify and document all site IT/OT (incl. SCADA) related assets and manage the full lifecycle of the assets in scope. This includes defining and coordinating appropriate management and protection responsibilities
  • Security in Change Management: To manage all changes for the assets securely, ensuring they do not compromise the security of the assets
  • Identity and Access Management: responsible for SCADA access management, keeping track and maintaining changes
  • Patch Management: Making the final decision on whether a system should be patched and when (after advice from OT security on risk and from I&C on feasibility), waying this against Operational risk and feasibility
  • Compliance: To ensure the compliance with the organization’s policies and standards and relevant regulations as well as other SCADA/IT/OT security requirements
  • Risk Management: To manage the cyber security risk for the assets in scope raised by OT Security / I&C, as part of Operational risk
  • Third Party / Supply Chain management: Ensure third party complies with cyber security policy and processes on day to day basis

 
Your profile 

  • Successfully completed university degree or equivalent working experience in a relevant technical or engineering discipline
  • Experience in HV and WTG SCADA systems and its infrastructure, as well as in control systems, automation, SCADA, PLC's, RTU's and IED's
  • Experience in some of the most used Industrial Communication Protocols (especially OPC-family, IEC-104, Modbus and MMS)
  • Cybersecurity relevant credentials ISA/IEC62443, GICSP, SANS
  • Deep understanding of regulatory security frameworks i.e. UK Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), IT SIG 2.0, KRITIS
  • Knowledge on managing vulnerabilities in control system environments with interdependencies to operational business processes
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27000 and NIST CSF
  • Knowledge in Communication Systems commonly used in Offshore Windfarms (Tetra, VHF, 4G, 5G IP Telephony)
  • Ability to carry on risk analysis and its mitigation plans
  • Capability to handle multiple assignments as needed and plan them dependent on project priority
  • Willingness to work offshore, travel and motivation to spend periods of time abroad
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
