Senior Pipeline Reporting Manager (d/f/m) (Offshore Wind Development)

The Senior Pipeline Reporting Manager (Offshore Wind Development) will sit within the Pipeline & Origination Management team and is responsible for overseeing and evolving the work within Offshore Development, monitoring and reporting on the global development portfolio.  The role provides for complete visibility of RWE Renewables offshore development pipeline and high visibility within the organisation to RWE Board level.

Key to the role will be maximising and protecting the value of RWE’s shareholder investment/interest in its joint venture assets, including optimising the value of the projects in line with RWE’s portfolio including costs, risks and liability considerations, while driving adherence to all safety, health, and environmental principles.


Your tasks:

  • Management and development of the Offshore Pipeline Database to meet the entire business’s needs including monthly updates

  • Working with Development Regional Heads to ensure data accuracy

  • Generation of a range of reports giving summaries of the pipeline for Steercos, Mid Term Planning (with Controlling), Monthly and Quarterly Performance Dialogues, Capital Market days and supplier engagement amongst others

  • Further development of the pipeline analysis and reporting functioning to improve user interfaces and access and, where appropriate, link in to wider company reporting

  • Working with Controlling to KontraG and Non-Commodity Risk reporting

  • Provision of definitive pipeline information for Strategy work and subsequent pipeline and target revisions

  • Provision of sanctioned data to industry databases and manage Development’s contribution to such Database subscriptions

  • Functional management of other team members contributing to those activities above


Your profile:

  • Completed degree in Economics, Finance or similiar field

  • Several years of experience in Reporting and Data Analysis

  • A solid understanding of the development process from project inception to Final Investment Decision

  • Strong self-performance management and delivery focus

  • Ability to be proactive and take responsibility for matters, while responding to competing business demands

  • The ability to seek and propose improvements to tools and processes

  • Experienced team worker with the ability to work constructively with both project teams and other RWE functions

  • Good all round understanding of project management principles including risk mitigation practises

  • Proven ability to persuade, challenge and build credibility at all levels and across functions of the business

  • Good organisational skills to meet fast paced timescales
