As Procurement Manager in our Offshore Procurement team for, you will support category management and negotiate Service and Maintenance Agreements as part of the asset acquisition. Alongside this you will provide procurement support for fleet contracts and other major projects in preparation of and during the operating phase of our Offshore Wind Projects and optimize our supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle.

 

 

Your future plans

 

  • Providing procurement support to our European, operational offshore wind projects 
  • Tendering and negotiation of large and complex service contracts (including service and maintenance agreements (SMA) for wind turbine generators), in multidisciplinary and international teams 
  • Development, implementation and management of purchasing strategies for Service and Maintenance Agreements for our development sites as well as fleet contracts for the Operating assets
  • Implementation of framework agreements for service and maintenance contracts
  • Implementation of an effective supplier relationship management with the service providers
  • Development and implementation of an ongoing stakeholder management with colleagues from the development and operations team.
  • Ensure key performance indicators and the performance of suppliers under the individual Contracts
  • Develop and maintain appropriate procurement/Project/Contract records
  • Provide general commercial support to the Team
  • Assist with the building of management information and reporting structures both Project specific and Procurement general performance
  • Understand and apply agreed contract terms and conditions
  • Advise and support Customer/Team on appropriate procurement methods/strategies and identify supply chain risks.

 

 

Your profile

  

  • Completed studies in engineering or economics, additional legal qualification advantageous 
  • Several years of relevant experience in the management and processing of large and complex tenders for power plant / industry or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex) as well as in negotiating contracts in the wind industry
  • Extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks and developing strategies for risk prevention or control 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple contract packages and stakeholders and to lead multidisciplinary teams 
  • Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures 
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English, other languages advantageous (e.g. German) 
  • Willingness to travel as well as the willingness to stay abroad temporarily to support our international projects.
