We want to boost adoption, engagement, and data literacy across the organization. For this, we are looking for a working student who is passionate about communication, storytelling, and design - and curious about data and digital transformation.


About the role

As a working student in our team, you will help us bring our data stories to life and foster a thriving internal community. Your everyday tasks will include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of branding strategies for our data transformation journey
  • Craft engaging communication (newsletters, success stories, learning nuggets) that make data topics tangible for business users
  • Design simple but impactful visuals (infographics, explainer slides, posters) using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite
  • Support community-building initiatives around our data platform, such as spotlighting power users, collecting use cases, or running small campaigns
  • Translate technical content into clear, business-friendly language by interviewing team members and shadowing projects
  • Help shape the identity of our data community and be the “voice” that connects the technical work with the wider business

 

Your profile

  • Ongoing studies in Business Informatics, Data & Business Analytics, Communication & Media Management, Digital Media, Information Design, or similar fields – in the Rhein/Ruhr or Hamburg area, to be able to work on site on our campus in Essen or Hamburg
  • You possess a deep understanding of social aspects, change management, and communication strategies
  • You are enthusiastic about the intersection of data, renewable energy, and corporate transformation
  • Ability to write clearly and adapt messages for different audiences
  • Visual storytelling skills with tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite
