Become part of a collaborative, dedicated, and diverse team of former strategy consultants, offshore wind experts, and energy industry professionals, all of whom play a significant role in shaping the future development of RWE Offshore Wind.

About the role

• You will be part of the Strategy Team and support the organization across all RWE Offshore regions in steering and implementing the RWE Offshore strategy, evaluating business opportunities, and developing strategic plans.
• In collaboration with Senior Strategy Managers, you will manage strategic projects and lead workstreams within the respective projects.
• You will provide insights into trends across offshore wind and the broader energy markets. Your objective will be to enable informed strategic and business decisions while identifying potential opportunities and gaps.
• You will contribute to major strategic projects in collaboration with RWE’s operational and functional business units, including the annual strategy update.
• You will monitor competitor developments and analyze competitive benchmarks, technologies, and market trends within the offshore wind industry, assessing their long-term implications.
• You will develop a deep understanding of RWE Offshore’s organization and capabilities by building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Job requirements and experience

• You hold an excellent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field, preferably complemented by a postgraduate qualification or MBA.
• You have several years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained in a leading strategy consulting firm and/or a corporate strategy function.
• You possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You are capable of synthesizing complex information and translating it into clear decision options and recommendations.
• You have advanced project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Others describe you as creative, open-minded, highly curious, and eager to learn. You are a person of integrity who enjoys working collaboratively in teams.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are comfortable using it in an international business environment.
• Solid knowledge of renewable energy markets and technologies is considered a strong advantage.
