Spare Part & Inventory Expert (m/f/d)

As Spare Part & Inventory Expert you will be responsible to improve spare part availability & proven cost savings. Furthermore you take care of  optimized inventory level and efficient material & inventory processes across all countries.

Your future plans:

• Implement & improve life cycle-based supply chain strategies and a holistic spare part planning concept to improve availability & costs for our assets. (Wind, Solar & Battery Storage)  
• Manage and minimize supply chain risks such as obsolescence, lead time & costs impacts for our fleet
• Collaborate and support local Warehouse Coordinators across the onshore fleet for higher spare part availability and support the continuous improvement on spare parts & inventory in cooperation with your colleagues
• Support the onboarding of new assets with initial spare parts and supply chain strategies
• Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives & project on spare part & inventory management from a European perspective to generate synergies across our fleet   
• Build long term relationships with Operations, Procurement, Suppliers and work on continue spare part costs & availability improvements, process optimization and further digitalization.
• Development of forecasts, reports and KPI´s for spare parts demand & consumption as well as spare parts savings for various stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Operations)
• Foster the diversification of spare part supply chains cooperation with procurement & engineering
• Support the Circular Economy journey for our OPEA fleet

Your profile:

• Successfully completed university degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Economics or Engineering
• Several years (3+) of professional experience in O&M in renewables with a focus on Supply Chain Management and/or Spare Part Management
• Sound knowledge of MS Office programs & SAP MM is a plus
• Great stakeholder management and very good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience in strategy & process implementation and optimization
• Proven Project management experience
• Enjoy working in a team of international team member
• High flexibility and self-initiative with hand-on mentality
• Very good in self-organization and working independently. 
• High degree of resilience and solution-oriented mindset
• High level of English proficiency is a must, further language skills are a plus
