Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Functional area: IT / Digital
 

As full-stack developer, you are the technical lead, architect and development manager for our individual software projects.

You will design and lead the implementation of our specialised web and mobile solutions that support RWE Renewables in the development, construction and operation of our wind onshore, wind offshore, solar and battery storage sites.

 

50% Coding & 50% Architectural focus

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership in the design and implementation of IT software solutions (mainly web-based and mobile applications) in collaboration with the development teams.
  • Software engineering based on latest technologies to create and maintain customised software solutions in the field of renewable energies
  • Carrying out code reviews and releasing fixed codes
  • Providing technical support to developers in the implementation of business-oriented solutions and guiding/steering developers in their projects (usually between two and seven developers per project)
  • Ensuring software security
  • Writing/securing technical documentation


Requirements:

  • Completed studies at a technical college/university or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Sound knowledge and ideally certifications for relevant technologies and frameworks, e.g. React, C# .NET, Node.js, SQL, MongoDB, REST, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Good knowledge and ideally certifications for designing and leading the implementation of software architectures
  • Experience working with agile methods as well as collaborative software development, e.g. pair programming, PR reviews, Git flows, etc.
  • Fluency in English
