Senior Process Engineer (m/f/t) Electrolysis

Your responsibilities
As a Project Engineer in Process Engineering, you will accompany our national and international large-scale projects in electrolysis and thus make a major contribution to the energy transition. Become a part of #TeamRWE and let us tackle the challenges of the future together by fulfilling the following tasks, among others:

  • You will use your expertise in process engineering to successfully advance projects in the fields of electrolysis and Power-2-X, in particular in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany
  • Preparation of feasibility studies - also for research and development projects
  • Management of contractors in terms of scope, budget and deadlines
  • Supporting the future development of electrolysis projects, in all different areas and colours of hydrogen
  • Preparation of specifications for plants and systems as well as due diligence
  • Review of existing plants including solution development
  • Concept development, design planning and procurement of plants and systems in the field of electrolysis

 

Your profile

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering or similar
  • At least five years of professional experience in operations, maintenance, challenging projects with plant manufacturers or in the power generation sector
  • Experience in tendering and processing power plant components
  • Experience in project management and order management
  • Strong communication skills as well as persuasiveness and drive
  • Business fluent in English

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Experience in water treatment, flue gas cleaning, or CCUS
  • German or Dutch language skills
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad
