Senior Continuous Improvement Expert (d/f/m)

Your future plans

  • Train, coach, challenge and support business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to develop competence in New Ways of Working (NWoW) / Lean practices
  • Build sustainable trustful relationships and NWoW / Lean capabilities through regular and structured support with business stakeholders
  • Remove barriers to change, build full buy-in, and influence others to see the benefits to NWoW
  • Support the business leaders in building development plans and approaches to their business areas to introduce, build up and sustain NWoW practices and improve business performance
  • Manage all risks, opportunities and issues which arise to ensure successful delivery of plans
  • Support the development of NWoW practitioners/champions who are embedded within each business area
  • Deputise for the Head of NWoW Enabling Function when required
  • Promote the NWoW certification/sustainability methods, recognising colleagues for their achievements
  • Co-ordinate E2E process management & optimisation and other business improvement initiatives through NWoW capability transfer
  • Lead, coach and mentor NWoW Experts by providing structured feedback, sharing best practices, knowledge, communications etc.
  • Carry out regular Go & See / Gemba activity to support the NWoW Experts  deliver sustainable performance improvement by providing them with guidance and expert problem solving support
  • Support existing NWoW SQA function during QA Days

Your profile

  • Bachelor or MSc in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Several years (5+) of experience in implementing and promoting new ways of working or lean management
  • Ability to lead, inspire, manage and delegate effectively across geographies
  • Ability to develop themselves and support others in their development to their full potential
  • Self-motivated to drive the business, increase performance and deliver results
  • Skillset in lean tools to push the boundaries and grow the business through continuous improvement
  • Ability to lead teams through change processes and to collaborate globally in cross functional teams
  • Very good communication skills for internally and externally purposes
  • Self-reflective personality, able to learn and act on feedback
  • Passionate about the renewables industry
  • Project management certificates like PMI, Prince2, Scrum or Six Sigma are beneficial
  • Languages: mandatory fluency in business English, German and other languages are a preference
