Our Strategy & Projects team as part of the central Controlling Processes & Operations function supports the group-wide Controlling community regarding improvement of their controlling processes as well as the development and optimisation of used planning & reporting solutions. Furthermore the team is responsible for the definition of an overarching Controlling strategy and the implementation of a Controlling governance framework. The role of a Senior Controlling Process Manager & Consultant (d/f/m) offers you a great opportunity to take over responsibility in optimising our planning and reporting processes from an E2E perspective, to drive digitalisation forward and to be an active part of our "Growing Green" journey. About the role
- In your role as business process owner you are responsible for the strategic development of our planning & reporting processes. You define areas for group-wide process and governance standards in the controlling system landscape and drive digitalisation forward
- As first point of contact you align the strategic roadmap with the top management and provide regular status updates
- Together with the IT departments you explore new technologies and best-practice solutions to identify further potential for process improvements and automation
- As a controlling consultant you advise a segment controlling team on controlling specific questions. You identify improvement ideas and support to translate business requirements into process and system specifications
- You manage a segment specific project portfolio (backlog) by structuring improvement initiatives, aligning on priorities with relevant stakeholders and providing hands-on project management support
- You collaborate with different departments in cross-functional project teams to ensure that designed and implemented solutions adequately meet the business requirements. Furthermore, you organise and execute trainings to enable end users
Job requirements and experience
- You have completed your university degree in business administration or related studies (e.g. business analytics, business information systems)
- Furthermore, you score points with your extensive professional experience with a focus on Controlling as well as expertise in process and project management, preferably from digitalisation/transformation projects
- Others describe you as an excellent team player with eagerness to learn and share your knowledge with the team and the ability to convince, motivate and enable others. Your talent to organise and to work autonomously helps you significantly in your daily business
- Besides that, you convince with your profound knowledge of information management systems, planning & reporting processes and data management. Initial experience with business intelligence software is highly desired
- You have good knowledge of SAP CO/PS/BW modules (preferably on S/4HANA) and MS Office
- You have very good communication skills, combined with the ability to analyse complex matters precisely and present them in an easy way. Experience in consulting is a welcome plus
- You enjoy using your fluent English and German skills in daily business
