Your future plans 
The Credit Risk Control department designs, implements and operates procedures for credit risk analytics, liquidity risk management, the corporate FX hedging process and quantitative aspects of financial markets regulations.

 

You will support the corporate FX hedging process as well as the liquidity risk controlling processes:

  • Analyse the FX exposure of the company and execute FX hedges accordingly
  • Ensure transparency of P&L, cash and IR effects related to FX & liquidity
  • Improve the processes and systems frameworks as appropriate

 

You will also collaborate with the team to operate the department’s credit risk control function:

  • Evaluate (complex) transactions in relation to exposure and pricing, including making suggestions for improving the risk / return relationship
  • Improve the counterparty credit risk methods and systems framework as appropriate

 

Key interfaces are Accounting & Controlling, Treasury, the Market Risk teams and commercial functions as well as Credit Risk.

 

Your powerful skills 

  • A degree, preferably in the field of business administration, economics, mathematics or science
  • Excellent analytical skills, a structured approach to complex issues and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent programming capabilities (ideally SQL, Python or C#) and a strong IT affinity
  • Significant experience in risk management, in particular with regard to FX & liquidity risk, counterparty credit risk and an understanding of commodity trading and the trading life cycle of financial & physical instruments
  • Fluency in English and ideally German, both spoken and written
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively

Advantageous, but not a must

  • First-hand experience with accounting and/or controlling processes are a benefit
