RWE’s Floating Development Team is an experienced and focused team that has already made significant progress in building internal capability and knowledge, and in ensuring that floating wind is a recognized strategic priority for the company. As a result of this work, it now hosts a world-class floating knowledge and expertise hub.

 

About the role

 

  • The specific tasks that you will deliver will depend on your unique combination of skills and knowledge but could include any of the following
  • Support business development initiatives for Floating Wind while monitoring international market developments in these sectorsConduct complex techno-economic analyses and prepare detailed reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
  • Develop and refine an existing cost model for future offshore floating wind farms, initially created in Excel
  • Collaborate closely with RWE experts to update the cost model and integrate it with various RWE tools, including an Airtable database
  • Assess the feasibility and efficiency of cost-saving measures for upcoming wind projects

 

Job requirements and experience

 

  • Ongoing Master’s studies in renewables energy, engineering, economics, business, natural science or related fields
  • High analytical and conceptual skills to quickly understand complex energy transition topics, summarize and effectively communicate key messages
  • Interested in working with complex calculation models and skilled in Excel and data integration tools
  • High level of initiative, reliability and proven organizational and collaborative skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven MS Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new IT toolsFluent English language skills, as part of your colleagues are not from Germany
