HR Business Partner

Your tasks

  • Supporting the Business leaders as a strategic HR partner in the development, design and implementation of the business strategy within the segments and the company
  • Managing and maintaining close and open communication with the managers in the business as well as HR partners such as the Shared Service Center and various Centers of Competence (CoC)
  • Collaborating with the business in order to develop a people agenda focusing on the ideal interlinking of human resources and company performance
  • Consulting and coaching managers regarding strategic, complex and operational personnel matters and developing fit-for-purpose solutions based on the HR agenda
  • Supporting the implementation of a superordinate talent strategy, the efforts in competence development, succession management, personnel planning as well as resourcing for the respective segments
  • Managing the relationship with the co-determination body and other stakeholders within the framework of employer and employee negotiations
  • Translating the business strategy into essential requirements for CoCs and group HR services as well as implementing harmonized standards

Your profile

  • University graduate in the field of economic or social sciences or a related field
  • Extensive HR expertise through several years of operational work experience in human resources, especially with regard to change management, recruiting, people development and succession management and collaboration with co-determination bodies
  • Awareness and understanding of all company HR processes and directives as well as in-depth knowledge of local labor, social security and collective bargaining laws and their implementation in the company
  • Ability to translate the business requirements into an HR strategy and to derive core HR priorities and functional requirements that permit HR to strategically support the operational business processes
  • Intercultural skills and confidence in dealing with international teams combined with excellent coaching and consulting skills and abilities as well as confidence and persuasiveness in dealing with managers
  • Strong economic understanding, analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of HR performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Team player with the ability to maintain corresponding networks effectively within and beyond the own functional and business area, including contacts in higher, connected and cross-company hierarchy levels and in other company departments
  • Fluent German and English language skills, additional European language skills are desirable
