Event Manager (m/f/t) with focus on digital events

RWE AG, Essen, Deutschland (DE)
To start as soon as possible, Full time / Part time, Fixed Term, 24 months

 

Your responsibilities

  • You will autonomously organise digital events, which includes responsibility for the associated stakeholder management
  • You will provide creative input into different subject areas and autonomously create (digital) events
  • You will host these events by using tools such as MICE Portal, participant management systems and apps
  • You will research digital event options, substantially expanding the event portfolio of RWE AG
  • You will provide support in organising Executive Board events at the national and international level and, in assisting the Board, make sure that specific customer requests are met
  • You will participate in designing holistic event concepts, in particular for Executive Board, advisory board and committee events, taking into account profitability, compliance rules, tax law requirements and Group directives
  • You will be responsible for selecting service providers and assist in managing events, especially with regard to quality and process efficiency and cost optimisation

 

Your profile

  • Qualified event management assistant, tourism or hotel specialist or similar and/or ideally a university degree in business administration with a focus on event management, tourism or hotel management 
  • At least 3 years’ national and international experience in event management or similar
  • Experience in project work, ideally initial experience in managing projects inclusive leading a project team 
  • Experience in collaborating with top executives and management/executive boards is an advantage
  • Very good MS Office user skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Very good conversational German and English language skills (spoken and written) 
  • A highly structured way of working as well as excellent organisational and conceptual skills 
  • You have a high degree of self-confidence and assertiveness, enjoy working in a team and have strong feedback giving and receiving skills
