Your future plans
The Workplace Technology domain (MFP-T) within the IT Infrastructure department is responsible for the delivery and management of the following:
- Core Infrastructure: Active Directory, internal DNS, DHCP, Messaging and PKI.
- Microsoft 365 support: Platform support for Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services.
- Endpoint Management: Build and maintenance of the Windows client, software packaging, software updates, SCCM infrastructure support, Intune management, MDM, VDI, Collaboration Tools, COTS Software Lifecycle Management and Power Platform support.
Your powerful skills
- Strong technical skills to handle more complex tasks that may require Intune/Device Management L3 team involvement.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Intune: Strong understanding of Intune’s architecture, features, and integration with other Microsoft services such as Entra ID and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Complex Device Management: Experience with managing a variety of devices (Windows, macOS, iOS) across different environments, including hybrid joined scenarios with on-premises technologies.
- Advanced Security and Compliance knowledge: ability to implement security policies, compliance rules, Conditional Access Policies, and encryption settings across devices.
- Application Packaging & Deployment: Knowledge of packaging and deploying complex applications, including line-of-business (LOB) apps, and handling version control.
- Troubleshooting Complex Issues: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving advanced issues related to device policies, application deployment, software conflict and compliance conflicts.
- User Experience Optimisation: Focus on optimising device policies and profiles to ensure a balance between security and usability for end users.
- Collaboration & Project Participation: Active participation in cross-functional projects, working with security teams, network teams, end user support teams, and core infrastructure administrators.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Create detailed technical documentation, and develop and promote best practices for device management and security.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical data-driven approach to define and implement solutions.
- Effective communication skills to provide support and collaborate with both internal and external teams.
- Motivation to define and implement new solutions.
- Experience working with international multi-disciplinary and multi-site development teams.
