Your future plans

• Become commercial manager for renewable power and certificates
• Support optimization of the value of our wind, solar and battery assets in continental Europe, Asia and Australia on the spot and derivative markets
• Run market analysis with commercial and operational data
• Support application of state of the art optimization methods in the field of Artificial Intelligence to optimize forecasting and trading on spot markets
• Support development of new assets with assumptions on commercial optimization and operation
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with other functions in RWE Renewables and RWE group
• Promote and foster a strong entrepreneurial and performance culture
• Confidently present and communicate insights to a wider range of stakeholders within RWE Renewables

Your profile

• Degree in science, engineering, business engineering, IT or similar
• Experience with e.g. SQL, Azure, Python, Matlab/R is advantageous
• First experience in the field of electricity markets and IT development is advantageous
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive personality with the willingness to actively contribute
• Confident appearance with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English; fluency in written and spoken German is advantageous, additional languages are a plus
