The role combines hands-on project development responsibility with active management of a pipeline and portfolio of site opportunities. • Lead assessment of sites and project opportunities, evaluating technical, commercial, market and regulatory feasibility for complex bundled service offerings
  • Actively manage and shape a portfolio of development opportunities, ensuring early pre-development activities, prioritisation of projects and timely launch of project development to reduce time-to-market
  • Conduct thorough market, customer and competitive analyses to identify new opportunities and align customer requirements with RWE’s asset, land and infrastructure capabilities
  • Design, plan and execute due diligence processes, drive competitive tender processes and enable customer co-creation partnerships for integrated, site-specific solutions
  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with key external stakeholders, including data centre operators and hyperscalers, technical and engineering partners, landowners, authorities, municipalities, and electricity and gas grid companies
  • Work seamlessly across internal teams, including Asset Development, Commodity Solutions, Site Management, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Real Estate Management and Grid Contract Management, to scout sites, conduct due diligence and deliver successful projects
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on portfolio development, project progress, risks, and market trends
