We are looking for a highly organized and attentive  Team & Office Coordinator to support the operations team of the OranjeWind offshore wind farm. This role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning of our O&M base and providing essential support to the team. You will be the go-to person for office management, document control, and coordination of various operational activities. 

 

RWE is currently building the OranjeWind offshore wind farm in the Netherlands, 85 kilometers off the coast of Den Helder with a capacity of 795 MW. It will feature the latest in wind turbine technology, using the Vestas V236 15MW turbines. The windfarm will see first power in 2027. 

 

 

About the role 

 

  • Office & facility management: manage office supplies, IT equipment, desks, and other essentials. 

  • Administrative support: manage travel bookings and business trips. Coordinate onboarding for new joiners. Support SAP workflows. 

  • Coordination & logistics: organize site visits, including offshore wind farm tours. Handle access cards and visitor registration. Arrange team events and gatherings. 

  • Oversee O&M base-related contracts, such as building lease, utilities, and cleaning. 

  • Document management: guide and assist the team on document management tasks, including best practices. 

  • Training & compliance: schedule personnel trainings and maintain medical certificates systematically. Support with ordering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and inventory management. 

 

Your working location will be at the O&M Base in the port of Den Helder. Because the new office is currently under construction (expected readiness in Q4-2026), you’ll be expected to initially work from home and temporarily spend time at the RWE office in Utrecht (1-2 days per week), until the offices are fully ready in Den Helder. 

 

 

Job requirements and experience 

 

  • Completed MBO4 or HBO degree. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in office coordination, administration, or similar roles. 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken). 

  • Familiarity with logistics and travel arrangements. 

  • Demonstrated aptitude for effective organization and managing various responsibilities simultaneously 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. 

  • Ability to manage contracts and vendor relationships. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP workflows. 

  • Experience in managing document control processes and best practices.
