The Senior HR Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality HR operations in Denmark. The role focuses on managing core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting leaders, and maintaining accurate HR data and documentation. The position works closely with HR colleagues, managers, IT/OT stakeholders, and other internal partners to ensure smooth and secure HR operations.

 

 

About the role

 

  • Own and manage the full employee lifecycle (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) in Denmark, ensuring timely and compliant execution
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication of all employee changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide daily HR support by managing the HR inbox and acting as a key contact for managers in Denmark
  • Advise and guide managers on HR processes, policies, and employee-related matters
  • Lead and coordinate NIS2-related HR processes, acting as the interface between HR and IT/OT stakeholders
  • Ensure timely processing and accuracy of employee data and documentation, including coordination with support resources
  • Maintain oversight of vetting processes, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Support HR policy updates and key initiatives, including the Danish Employee Handbook and Pay Transparency implementation, while collaborating across teams

 

 

Job Requirements & Experience

 

  • Extensive experience in Senior HR Operations roles, with strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management and compliance
  • Proven track record handling security clearances and collaborating with public authorities
  • Experience working with NIS2 requirements from an HR perspective
  • Strong proficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and general IT tools
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance throughout employment
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach with high accuracy in data and HR processes
  • Collaborative and service-minded mindset, with the flexibility to support managers and employees on-site
