We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to support our offshore wind projects from development through to FID. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of our Quality Management Framework are integrated into the projects during the development phase.

Within the line, the Quality Manager will strive for continuous improvement and close alignment between the various projects and the implementation of an overarching pipeline approach to the supply chain, promoting a risk-based quality assurance and control strategy and close monitoring of supplier performance.


Your future plans:


•    Adapt and implement comprehensive quality management plans for projects from development through to FID, including setting project quality objectives and the relevant standards to be achieved;
•    Define and implement the project quality strategy using a risk-based approach.
•    Support the projects in the gate processes to achieve FID readiness from a quality perspective.
•    Plan project quality resources from development to COD
•    Preparation of quality control cost calculations and their coordination with the respective project partners 
•    Developing supplier qualification and evaluation guidelines and methods, and performing supplier qualification and evaluation; continuous supplier quality improvement.
•    Plan and conduct supplier quality monitoring/audits
•    Prepare quality related tender documents, evaluate bids and support contract negotiations with suppliers.

 

Your profile:


•    Successfully completed university degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, civil, electrical engineering or in a comparable field) as well as additional qualifications as quality auditor, quality manager or comparable
•    At least 5 years of relevant professional experience and expertise in quality assurance, monitoring and management as well as comprehensive expertise in offshore wind farm components
•    Extensive knowledge in the application of relevant international project and quality management standards as well as technical regulations and standards such as IEC61400, BSH, DNV, EN1090 etc.
•    Experienced in risk management and budget estimation
•    Good interpersonal and communication skills with people on different levels of hierarchy, different backgrounds and cultures, team player
•    Business fluent in written and spoken English
•    Willingness to travel
