Opportunities available:

Each of our four teams in finance are offering positions, based on experience, as an Analyst, Senior Analyst, and/or Manager to work with our business teams evaluating business opportunities, valuing projects and proposals, and delivering clear articulation of opportunity and risk to our governing decision makers ensuring every investment we make is accretive and supports our ambitious growth goals.  

 

  • Projects & Investments North America (P&I NA) is responsible for supporting the offshore wind business team in evaluating business opportunities, valuing projects and proposals, and driving the investment approval process to deliver a clear articulation of opportunity and risk to management.
  • Structured Finance is responsible for raising tax equity financing and other forms of external financing. This team works closely with investors third-party consultants, and legal counsel to execute tax equity and other forms of project financings.
  • Investment & Valuation (I&V) supports accelerating the energy transition through investments in onshore wind, solar, and storage assets in the US, Canada, and selected LatAm countries. We are responsible for quantitative and qualitative analyses for investment opportunities, run the investment approval processes and provide investment recommendations.
  • Partnering& Transactions (P&T) supports our ambitious growth targets through project M&A, targeting utility-scale onshore wind, solar, and storage acquisitions in North America and selected countries in LATAM. The same team also structures and leads equity partnerships and divestments for our operational projects.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar fields
  • MBA or advanced degree with a focus on statistics, data analytics, or other quantitative focus preferred OR finance, business, or other professional designations (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMI) preferred for more senior level roles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to apply creative thinking to solve complex, interrelated problems
  • Team player with the flexibility to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas
  • Demonstrated interest in the energy or renewable energy industry
  • Experience in valuation methodologies (especially DCF) and financial modeling (Excel)
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
  • Experience with statistical analytics or financial mathematics
  • Affinity to work in a fast-paced business environment with a diverse cross-section of colleagues across RWE’s global businesses
