Your Future Plans

Main focus of the New Business Partners Team is to implement business growth initiatives across RWEST, working closely with Front Office desks and Support Function colleagues. The New Business Partner manages timely and high quality delivery of new products and transactions in order to enable RWEST’s quick reaction to market opportunities, while ensuring risk mitigation. The New Business Partner is part of a cross-locational team located in Essen and Swindon and will report to the Head of New Business Partners. The team is part of the Corporate Affairs department, which contains different teams such as Communication & Events, Corporate Improvement & Projects, Sustainability and Business Excellence & Transformation.

 

  • Acting as first point of contact for Front Office desks with respect to any new business initiatives and also for Support Functions related to new business implementations in dedicated commercial areas globally, e.g. Trading, Origination, Commercial Asset Optimisation including Renewables. 
  • Having full oversight of desk level priorities, time criticality of individual new business activities as well as a broad understanding of the assigned commercial  business and the overall RWEST strategy.
  • Reporting to Head of New Business Partners and liaising closely with the New Business Partner colleagues to enable clear priority setting for the implementation and dispatch for the entire growth portfolio.
  • Acting as an in-house consultant and leading first assessment of new business initiatives and their implementation approach.
  • Managing and coordinating the implementation of products and transactions in time and high quality given the approval process across all relevant Support Functions, the so-called New Business Approval Process (NBAP). 
  • Contributing to efficiency and effectiveness improvements of the NBAP.
     

Your profile 

  • University degree level, preferably in the field of Economics, Math’s, Science, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Very good team-player with first experience in process or project management
  • Organisational talent to manage different tasks with tight deadlines in high quality
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage and motivate other teams
  • Excellent stakeholder and expectation management skills with high customer orientation and cultural sensitivity
  • Solution-oriented and well-structured approach in the analysis of complex issues
