RWEST US is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support our HR team in managing daily administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations. This role will focus on providing essential HR and payroll support, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Manage the joiner, mover, leaver and on-boarding processes for employees within RWESTA and RWETA.
- Ensure all payroll changes are submitted to our 3rd party payroll provider, accurately and on time, for the bi-monthly and monthly US payrolls.
- Provide timely support and advice to employees and managers on a range of topics including; remuneration, employment benefits, absences, contractual changes, and produce all relevant follow up contractual documentation.
- Accurately maintain the employee data within internal and external HR systems, including SAP KP3 and our 3rd party payroll providers portal, to support precise budget and forecast reporting.
- Provide guidance and support on employee performance/conduct cases, managing them to an appropriate outcome based on internal policy and relevant legislation.
- Maintain employment records accurately, ensuring they are kept up to date in line with relevant Data Protection guidelines, including relevant right to work (I-9) checks for all new hires.
- Provide HR support and guidance on business driven project activities such as the annual bonus and salary review process, department restructures/reorganisations and intercompany transfers.
- Ensure the Employee Handbook and applicable employment policies are maintained in line with relevant US and state specific legislation.
- Support and/or take ownership as appropriate, on local and global HR continuous improvement projects.
- Manage adherence to all relevant HR related policies
- Occasional travel to other RWE locations in the US and Europe will be required.
Your powerful skills
- Experience in a US based HR role (1-2 years experience).
- Hungry to learn, get involved, and develop as an HR professional.
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Working knowledge/ ability to effectively navigate HR systems.
- Working knowledge of US employment legislation.
- Experience of with payroll/HR systems.
- Ability to partner/liaise with external 3rd party payroll provider and internal HR systems.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the HR team and across the business to support HR processes effectively.
- Ability to support HR operations in a fast-paced environment, handling administrative tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Process-driven with a proactive approach to improving HR administrative workflows.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in determining when to escalate employee issues to HR leadership.
- Strong team player with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working within a structured HR framework and supporting various stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advantageous, but not a must
- Experience in a HR role within an international business, across global locations.
- Knowledge of SAP KP3 systems.
