Experience an exciting summer internship at RWE Clean Energy, where you'll work with industry experts, contribute to real-world projects, forge valuable connections in a supportive intern cohort, and grow personally and professionally in the sustainable energy sector. The Sustainability Intern at RWE Clean Energy holds a pivotal position within our Sustainability team. Our team is dedicated to spearheading the sustainability transformation and strategy at RWECE, a global leader in clean energy. The intern will become part of a worldwide network of sustainability professionals within the RWE Group, actively contributing to the implementation of our sustainability strategy. 

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to the execution of our sustainability strategy, actively participating in our sustainability projects 
• Independently conduct research and assess data to support our sustainability initiatives 
• Take ownership of specific work packages and manage small projects integral to the implementation of our sustainability strategy 
• Assist in the creation of presentations, reports, and various communication materials to facilitate effective information dissemination 

Qualifications: 

• Enrolled in an accredited US university program, pursuing either an undergraduate or master's degree in sustainability management, environmental science, social policy, business, or economics  
• Demonstrate a keen interest in corporate sustainability transformation, energy transition, and renewable energy, specifically within the context of RWE Clean Energy 
• Prior exposure and interest in working on areas such as climate change mitigation, biodiversity, circular economy, and stakeholder engagement will be a plus 
• Motivated and eager to contribute innovative ideas to further our sustainability objectives 
• Display a proactive and organized work style, complemented by exceptional communication skills 
• Collaborative team player with the adaptability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams 

This is a full-time 12-week Spring internship starting in January.
