The HR and Payroll operations team is instrumental in maintaining and protecting employee records, paying employees accurately and timely, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state, federal, and International laws. The Senior Associate works in the Austin office supporting payroll processing for approximately 2,000 employees, including pay changes and data validations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently to reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure payroll processing occurs in a timely manner
- Record all payroll journal & benefit entries, calculate and record Incentive Accruals
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Support data mapping from ADP general ledger interface to SAP
- Understand multi-state tax jurisdictions
- Maintain ADP WFN HRIS System – validation tables, system security, time & attendance, payroll codes
- Calculate Incentive Accruals, pro-rated pay, and PTO payouts
- Perform audits on employee data
- Create custom reports in ADP as needed
- Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries from employees and management
- Maintain employee records/information on an ongoing basis while maintaining confidentiality and protecting payroll data
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field is prefered
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting and/or payroll experience for an associate-level and 5 years for senior associate level
- A minimum of 3 years of ADP experience
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Knowledge and project experience in SAP SuccessFactors (EC or EC-P) is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- General Knowledge of Human Resources
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
