Portfolio Optimization Analyst

Responsibilities:

Primary duties would be to assist VP of Development Optimization NA Wind in management and reporting of all project and portfolio data, including budgetary and spending data, with key accountability for timely and accurate reporting to requests for information from the RWE Renewables Board, the COO Americas, Regional SLT and all other Stakeholders. Position would also support all regional Vice Presidents and their development teams in the development of project budgets, schedules, project data sheets and maintenance of accurate up-to-date project milestones. In addition, the role would train new developers in the use and maintenance of the development tools. Finally, the position would support the VP of Development Optimization by managing special projects for the COO Americas such as digitalization projects, WTG selection processes, merit order processes, project deep dives and other ad hoc tasks.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of MS Office tools Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI and Access a plus
  • Ability to handle large amounts of complex data and ability to extract trends, and performance indicators for portfolio steering
  • Creative mindset with ability to analyze processes and determine optimization potential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and establish connections with stakeholders within the organization
  • Knowledge of wind development a plus but not required
  • Experience with digitalization --> use of e.g. digital project management tools
  • Experience within consultancy or project management a plus
