IT Solution Manager

Functional area: Renewables 


The IT Solution Manager is responsible for the end to end management of software projects/solutions. This position helps to support the development and maintenance of business-specific applications. This role will also provide coaching and solution portolio management.
Main responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility in the management of new software projects (mainly web and mobile) for internal and external use in the renewable energies sector 
  • Being accountable for the operation and further development of the solutions 
  • Coaching the product owners and taking over the role as “scrum master” 
  • Provide oversight and project management, Project organization.
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Provide business analysis to help translate bsuiness requirements into technical reqirements/product backlog items

  • Perform product ideation
  • Understand the acailbility and capacity of the team and assign projects
  • Provide technical support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.



• Multiple years of experience in creating and managing digital products and software projects 
• Multiple years of experience in using agile methods, e.g. based on scrum 
• Ability to analyze complex problems and transform them into backlog items 
• Being proactive in taking over end to end responsibility of software projects/solutions 
• Understanding of new technology developments and solution patterns for the planning and shaping of digital solutions (e.g. by using design sprints) 
• Experience in frontend and backend technologies such as Java, Javascript, Typescript, web technologies and micro service architectures 
• University degree in information technology or comparable apprenticeship
