The Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, Associate is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that support strategic decision making and operational efficiency across the organization. The associate works with various stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives, and leverages various data sources and analytical tools to provide insights and recommendations that inform action plans and drive outcomes. The associate also ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reports, and adheres to best practices and standards for data management and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the continual development of business intelligence and analytical tools to provide actionable data-driven insights to the Operations’ organization enabling optimization of operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reports that empower site operators and asset managers to accurately measure and report on KPIs and metrics, ensuring alignment with company targets
- Enhance the financial budgeting and forecasting platform to optimize operational planning and benchmarking in close collaboration with different budget owners across the organization
- Utilize advanced data transformation and modeling techniques to convert large, complex datasets into actionable business insights, supporting strategic decision-making
- Develop, document, deploy, and maintain comprehensive analytical reports that monitor operational and financial KPIs, using data handling and visualization techniques to provide insights to external investors
- Regularly analyze and present detailed reports and performance trends to executives using data visualization tools
- Identify and implement process automations for efficient data processing, significantly reducing manual and redundant steps to support RWE Clean Energy’s ambitious growth plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, science, business, or similar discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience
- A Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of work experience
- Skilled in data mining, data management, and analysis
- Ability to maintain high level of data accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis
- Experience in working with databases (MSSQL, deltalake, AirTable, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of business intelligence applications like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Skilled in problem solving and deriving actionable insights from data
- Generates innovative data-driven and result-orientated solutions to complex challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
- Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud is beneficial
- Knowledge of scripting languages like python, JavaScript is a plus
- Experience in renewable asset operations is a plus
