The Associate, Lease Asset Managementwill manage the day-to-day tasks surrounding compliance and obligations of contractual agreements for RWECE’s projects in development, construction, and operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review title documents (deeds, probate, etc.) to interpret ownership and identify legal descriptions is required
  • Analyze and interpret lease language to identify lease payment obligations and schedule requirements
  • Process new leases and memorandums to set up and monitor lease obligations. Enter and validate land & landowner data in AltAMPS (lease management software)
  • Communicate with leased landowners, auditors, accounting, and other professionals in a timely manner and demonstrate knowledge of contract terms. Must develop a thorough understanding of portfolio payment terms
  • Act as an internal expert on the department's processes, workflows, and lease management system. Become a liaison/ coordinator between external departments to manage and complete certain tasks efficiently and accurately on a timely basis
  • Provide system-generated and/or manually generated ad hoc reports to internal and external users
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the Company. Learning new tools and applications has become vital as the position takes on more leases, landowners, projects, and other responsibilities
  • Assist in administration duties, including filing and uploading documents, printing/scanning, and mailouts

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, and paralegal certificate or lease management experience preferred

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with lease administration, contract management and/or asset management
  • Ability to evaluate legal contracts
  • Experience with title and survey review preferred
  • Direct experience in the renewable industry is preferred
  • Written & verbal communication skills are essential
  • High attention to detail and analytical review of data sets formulas and agreements
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and land/lease management software such as AltAMPS
  • This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations

  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time
