HR Controller (Senior)

Location: Coventry or Swindon


  • Drive the FTE and personal expense planning process for specific business areas as part of the overall global finance process and in collaboration with HR (management and HR Business partners), Controlling and top management
  • Ensure budget compliance, tracking of budget adjustments and monitoring of costs, e.g. via position plan or regular reports
  • Analyze HR figures, data and facts, record complex data relationships, prepare essential information, interpret it and derive measures
  • Ensure continuous improvement and customer orientation of our HR reporting, HR planning and IT landscape together with your team
  • Ceate regular insightful reports and detailed ad hoc analysis for management or finance function
  • Contribute with your HR controlling expertise in projects like IT optimizations, reorganizations or strategic planning
  • Perform the overall planning for the HR function itself in alignment with the HR senior leadership team
    Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels and report to senior management
  • Extensive experience in Controlling (preferably HR controlling) and budget planning process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability, detail orientation and IT affinity
  • Process and project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot, PowerQuery, VBA) and PowerPoint skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with SAP environment (HR and CO module)
  • Advanced skills in data visualization and data based storytelling
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Maths, Economics or related field required.
