As Category Manager in our Service Contracts team, you will support both category management and the operational purchasing of our onshore wind and solar parks during the operating phase and optimize our supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle.

 

Your future:

  • Support of our operational onshore wind and solar projects
  • Support of our central Engineering function for Solar and Wind developments
  • Management of the negotiation of service contracts and agreements for spare parts and other materials for wind turbine generators, in multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Development, implementation and management of purchasing strategies for service and maintenance & development contracts
  • Development of an optimized and standardized tendering process for engineering services and maintenance & development contracts
  • Development and implementation of an active stakeholder management
  • Implement framework agreements into the SAP system to allow automatic ordering
  • Place call off’s against existing framework agreements
  • Convert Purchase requisitions into Purchase Orders, where automatic SAP contracts do not exist. 
  • Invoice query support for purchase orders. 

 

Your profile: 

  • Several years of relevant experience in the Wind Industry or Energy Sector, Construction or Civil Engineering Industries or in the management and processing of Services and Operations 
  • Extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks and developing strategies for risk prevention or control
  • Ideally completed studies in engineering or economics, additional legal qualification advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple contract packages and stakeholders and to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English, other languages 
  • Deep SAP skills
  • Great team player
  • Can do & problem-solving attitude for ad hoc business demands in case of supply shortages
