The legal team of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH advises the company’s business on all legal matters – relating to commodities trading, solutions for big industrial customers, Green Power Purchase Agreements, regulatory requirements, global corporate matters and lots more. We are driving RWE’s mission “Our Energy for a sustainable life” by enabling innovative business ideas. We are based in Essen, but we work closely with our colleagues in the UK, BeNeLux, Singapore, China, Japan and increasingly the U.S.A.
 

• You will negotiate and/or help implement group internal contracts (i.e. service level agreements, investment management agreements etc.)
• You will be responsible for the administration of matters relating to subsidiaries globally (e.g. board meetings, shareholder resolutions, changes to boards, powers of attorney etc.)
• You cannot wait to show your organisational skills by taking over suitable tasks in big projects and managing your own projects
• You will coordinate with internal stakeholders for group in- and external filings and group internal reporting
• You will communicate with public authorities and other external parties in number of matters and issues

Your powerful skills 

• You are a 
  • German or English qualified paralegal (e.g. “Diplom - Wirtschaftsjurist” or associated degree) with a excellent knowledge of the energy sector, we also value other experience from different sectors
  • Or a comparable business experience with a legal background
• Complex commercial and legal matters do not frighten you but rather you grow during the challenge tackle them – while working as a real team player
• You are open-minded, enjoy developing new perspectives, continuously learning new skills and like to apply new IT and support techniques
• You have excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing

Advantageous, but not a must

• Other languages, especially German, are advantageous
