Sr. Development Analyst

Boston, Ma. Onsite Hybrid position  (3 days in the office per week)
 

 

The Senior Development Analyst plays a critical role providing dynamic support for governance activities related to the Community Offshore Wind project.  The primary goal of this team-oriented role is to support and enhance the project’s ability to secure decisions in support of Project objectives. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence c-suite level decision makers and enable the successful development of an offshore wind mega-project.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and support Project Leadership to frame, inform and obtain mission-critical decisions from internal and Joint Venture governance bodies
  • Advise the Project Director and other Project Leadership on day-to-day Project Management, execution strategy, and status tracking
  • Coordinate across the project team to set the workplan to obtain key governance approvals, including preparation and management of schedules
  • Interface with subject matter experts to communicate objectives, understand critical concepts from their functional area and synthesize into executive-level communication
  • Develop and design materials, and collaboratively craft messaging for executive review and action
  • Lead special projects for the Project Director on cross-functional topics of strategic significance with executive visibility

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration, engineering, renewable energy, public administration or similar disciplines
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience (e.g., management consulting, corporate strategy, renewable energy development, etc.)  
  • Good to advanced skill level with various Microsoft Office products such as Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to persuade, challenge and build credibility at all levels, across functions of the business
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management skills, a refined strategy toolkit, a track record of collaborating across functions and borders, strong commercial acumen, strong multi-tasking skills, and experience communicating with executive leadership, translating complex concepts into meaningful high-level summaries to enable executive decision-making
  • Ability to juggle multiple high priority tasks, have strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented and Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to analyze and summarize complex development topics and aggregate decision-relevant information to convey messages clearly and concisely
  • Team player with a strong motivation to drive results
